Keith Richardson

A stellar high school, collegiate and professional tennis player. Keith’s high school honors included four #1 rankings for both singles & doubles excellence while playing the #1 position for Rock Hill High School all four years. He won the 1971 individual Tennis State Championship while helping his team win the State Championship. He completed his prep career as the South’s #3 ranked tennis player in his age bracket. Moving on to Appalachian State he won three conference singles and two doubles titles and helped the Mountaineers to the 1975 conference championship. He was awarded the school’s Athlete of the Year Award. His professional accolades include a world ranking of #63, several pro of the year awards, selection to the Southern Conference 75th Anniversary team, induction into the SC, NC and Appalachian State Halls of Fame.
