Once fall arrives, Carowinds turns into something much spookier: SCarowinds.
From September 11 through November 1, 2026, on select nights, Carowinds transforms after dark with haunted mazes, scare zones, live entertainment and nighttime thrills. Whether you're looking for a night of Halloween scares or an adrenaline-filled fall adventure, SCarowinds brings the fright to the Carolinas.
What's New at SCarowinds in 2026?
SCarowinds is bringing even more scares to the park this year with eight new experiences, including a brand-new haunted maze, three new scare zones and four new live shows.
Jason: Blood Reign
One of the biggest additions to SCarowinds 2026 is Jason: Blood Reign, a new haunted maze inspired by the Friday the 13th franchise.
Enter Jason Voorhees' terrifying world and face a nightmare filled with dark environments, unexpected scares and scenes inspired by the iconic horror films.
New Scare Zones
SCarowinds is also introducing new places to encounter monsters and mayhem throughout the park, including:
- Carnevil
- Lost Souls
- Restricted
Each scare zone brings its own atmosphere and characters to the streets of SCarowinds.
New Live Entertainment
Four new shows are joining the SCarowinds lineup in 2026:
- The Resurgence
- Blade Drummers
- Sinister Slide Squad
- Incantations with the Enchantress
With haunted attractions, scare zones, live shows and nighttime rides, there's plenty to experience throughout the evening.
SCarowinds Haunted Mazes
In addition to this year's new attractions, SCarowinds features returning haunted mazes designed to put your Halloween courage to the test.
Guests can encounter attractions including:
- Jason: Blood Reign
- Slaughterhouse
- Silver Scream Studios: Director's Cut
- The Toothfairy
- Paranormal Inc.
A Haunted Attractions Pass is required for access to the haunted mazes. SCarowinds itself is included with regular park admission on event nights, while the haunted attractions require the additional pass.

Tickets are on sale now through Carowinds. Admission to SCarowinds is included with eligible Carowinds admission, while access to the haunted mazes requires a Haunted Attractions Pass. Additional options, including Express access, are available through Carowinds.
