Farms & Farmers Markets
What's Growing On in York County?
Walk among the blooming peach trees, pick fresh strawberries, or get lost in a corn maze. York County’s buzzing agriculture scene can transport you to life on the farm.
Whether you’re looking for that family-friendly experience with livestock or just fresh produce, there are dozens of farms across the county to discover!
You can also experience that fresh produce every week with the Old Town Farmers Market! Here you'll find farm-fresh favorites like meat, eggs, and produce! The market runs every Saturday from May to November 18th.
The new Fort Mill Farmers Market, which turns into the Fort Mill Fall Market during the off-season, is an excellent addition to downtown Fort Mill! Head to Veteran's Park every Saturday, May 13th to October 28th for fresh produce, local vendors, and more!
Once a year every farm across York County opens to the public through Ag + Art in June. Ag + Art is the country's largest self-guided, free farm and art event. Tour nearly two dozen farms over two weeks with public art displays as well! Starting in 2019, Ag+Art York County will be split into two weeks. The farms on the east side of the county will be open the first weekend of June, and farms on the west side of the county will be open the second weekend of June!
