• Lettered in Football (4), Basketball, and Baseball (2) while a student athlete at Northwestern High
• Led Northwestern  to three Upper State Championships (’08, ’09, ’10),
• State Championship and undefeated season in 2010
• Never lost a game to a region opponent (15-0)
• 156 Passing Touchdowns, 13,320 total passing yards
• Rock Hill Herald Offensive Player of the Year
• Multiple All-Area and All-Region Selections, All-State
• Finalist for South Carolina Mr. Football in 2010
• Selected to play in the 2010 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas
• USAF All-American, Parade All-American,  2010
• Gatorade National  Player of the Year 2010-2011
• Rivals.com National Offensive Player of the Year 2010
• Named as a Tom Lemming Top 100 Recruit
• Started at Quarterback for the University of Tennessee in each of his 4 years
• Compiled 3,556 yards passing and 23 Passing Touchdowns
• Led the Volunteers to a victory over a Top 10 ranked University of South Carolina team in 2013
• Was a member of the Chicago Bears practice Squad in 2015 as the team’s 3rd quarterback

• Participant in the Read Across America program while at the University of Tennessee, reading to elementary school students in Knoxville and Rock Hill
• Worked on 4 projects throughout college to build four separate homes for deserving, underprivileged families
• Active in community events and social outings for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Knoxville while at the University of Tennessee
