Jim Barnes

Jim played football & wrestled at Pennsbury High School (PA) and at Appalachian State University (1965 – 1968). He also coached for 31 years at Union, Airport, Rock Hill and Lewisville high schools with a record of 415-23. He has coached 85 individual state champions and is a 17-time Team State Champion. Barnes was a multiple time Region Coach of the Year, was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007 and the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2015.
