1.Mercantile Anniversary:

The Mercantile is celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary this Friday starting at 12:00 AM with in-store sales and giveaways all day. This anchor to the Warehouses on White is celebrating big by bringing the one and only Waffle House food truck back from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Don't miss the 1 year anniversary & 24 hours of sales this Black Friday.  In need of a coffee pick me up? Knowledge Perk next door will also be open for 24 hours for your caffination needs. 

2.Founders Ice Skating Rink:

Hit the ice and show of your moves on skates, the family will surely be impressed. The skating rink in Old Town Rock Hill will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For only $10 you can get skates and be on the ice for 2 hours. It’s the perfect activity to get the kids out of the house for a few hours!

3.Black Friday at Rock Hill Galleria:

Don’t miss Black Friday at the Rock Hill Galleria. They’ll be open Thanksgiving from 4pm to 10pm and then again at 6am to 10pm on Black Friday. Don’t miss all the deals at your favorite stores.

4. Small Business Saturday:

Support our small businesses this Saturday and head out to one of our downtowns to cross off some Christmas Shopping. We have dozens of shops across the area that are featuring deals and opening up for extra hours just so you can get your Christmas Shopping done! 5. Carowinds Winterfest:

Carowinds is transformed once again! Step inside this rollercoaster theme park turned into a winter wonderland. You can ice skate, take in the 5 million shimmering lights, or wonder at the 70-foot tree! New this year, there will be a parade daily! There will be live shows and strolling performers delight guests and spread Christmas cheer for all to hear. Festive fun and hands-on holiday activities are located throughout the park, and sweet aromas from special holiday dishes and desserts fill the midways. Plus, up to 24 of your favorite rides will be open to complete your night of memory making.

6. Anne Springs Close Greenway Christmas Market:

More than 150 artists and crafters from the Charlotte region will offer unique holiday gifts and decorations at the Winter Wonderland Craft Fair on Saturday, November 24 at the Anne Springs Close Greenway from 9am-4pm.  All items are handmade and include pottery, jewelry, quilts, handbags, children’s clothing, woodwork, soap, candles and gourmet foods such infused olive oils.  Enjoy a “Sip & Shop” bar on the grounds where hard cider, wine and beer will be available for purchase from 11a-3:30p. Get ready for festive music ft. Ashley Owens from 11:45am-12:45pm and 2-3:30pm next to the “Sip & Shop” bar on the back patio of the Dairy Barn.

7. YoCo Brew Trail:

Show the family all the new breweries that York County has opened over the past year with the YoCo Brew Trail. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a food truck and drink at one of our eight locations across York County. Windy Hill will be open over the weekend with Wassail and hard cider, while Amor Artis will be revealing their dual bottle release on Saturday. 8. Kings Mountain Hike:

Want to get outside but don’t need a grueling hike? Kings Mountain National Military Park is the place for you. Enjoy a beautiful walk on a paved path through the last of the fall leaves. This path will take you up to a gorgeous monument that marks the Battle of Kings Mountain, which was a turning point in the American Revolution. If you want a more strenuous hike, head next door to Kings Mountain State Park.

9. Historic Brattonsville:

Brush up on your American Revolutionary history with this interactive living history farm! Historic Brattonsville knows how to make history fun. You’ll learn from interpreters what it was like on the Bratton family farm in the 1700’s and 1800’s. This is the perfect weekend to go as there are piglets and a calf that are less than 2 weeks old! Treat your kids to some old fashioned fun this holiday weekend.

10. Grab Your Christmas Tree:

No need to head to the mountains for your live Christmas Tree, you can get it right here in York County. Instead of shopping for deals, head to Penland’s Christmas Tree Farm.
