about
This traditional state park, which encompasses 6,883-acres, offers outdoor recreation activities such as hiking trails, picnicking, fishing from a rental jon boat, seasonal canoe rentals, equestrian trails and more. Guests can also re-live the life styles of early pioneers by visiting the Living History Farm. The park was originally built in the 1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps and evidence of their stonework and craftsmanship is still present today.
