about
The White Home, circa 1840, represents a unique cultural and historic resource for the citizens of York County, SC. Evolving from a small one-room house in the early 19th century, the home was added to and remodeled over some forty years. Five generations of the White family lived in the home until it was purchased by Historic Rock Hill in 2005. Members of the family were instrumental in the development of Rock Hill and helped guide the town's future. Historic Rock Hill owns and maintains the White Home as a museum and wedding venue.
