He was born in Syracuse, NY, and learned to make pizza in New Jersey, just outside Manhattan. She was born in Rochester, NY, with her family from Buffalo, and she is in the bar/restaurant business. They met in Los Angeles at his Santa Monica pizzeria, where the comfort of home was found; it was down-to-earth, fun, and the place you wanted to go to at the end of the day. Twenty years later, they opened the same-style pizzeria in Fort Mill, South Carolina, dedicated to serving New York-style pizza and Buffalo wings in the same welcoming atmosphere.
