Summer is when York County farms hit their stride.

Peach bins start filling up. Blueberry bushes are heavy with fruit. Flower fields open for picking. Farm markets spill into downtown streets and families head out for evenings with animals, ice cream, and sunset views.

It also marks one of the biggest agricultural weekends of the year.

The York County Ag + Art Tour returns on June 6, opening the gates to farms, orchards, markets, and gardens across the county and officially kicking off summer agritourism season.

Whether you live here in York County or are planning a weekend trip, here is your guide to some of the best agritourism experiences happening this June and July.
