Clover
King of Fire Pizza - Italian Restaurant

COMING SOON: A beloved crowd-pleaser is coming to downtown Clover! If you’ve attended any York County city-sponsored event, chances are you’ve tried a pizza from King of Fire Pizza. Now, you won’t have to track them down, as they’re setting up a permanent location in downtown Clover. This new spot will offer a twist, featuring King of Fire Pizza in a full Italian restaurant setting, different from their Charlotte locations.
Parkin Latte

Coming Soon: Parkin Latte, a mobile coffee spot that has developed a cult following in Clover, recently announced a new storefront in Blacksburg. With this announcement, they also teased plans for York County in 2026. Whether it will be a permanent location in Clover or an expansion of their popular mobile operation, one thing is certain, they are staying parked in Clover. Coming Soon: The Thread is expanding in March 2026 with the addition of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii. Known for their bold flavors and specialty drinks, Bad Ass Coffee serves 100% Hawaiian coffee, bringing a taste of the islands to Rock Hill.

Big Air Trampoline Park

Raising Cane’s is coming to the former Bob Evans location in Rock Hill. This nationwide chain has won over fans with its fresh, hand-breaded chicken fingers. The new location is expected to open in early 2026.
Tega Cay
Hoof & Barrel

Now Open: City of York staple Hoof & Barrel is opening a new location in Tega Cay, bringing its classic menu, great steaks cooked just the way you like them, and the same hometown atmosphere.
Main Street Project
📍Between Stonecrest Boulevard and Dam Road
COMING SOON: Main Street Tega Cay will be a mixed-use community with a public park, residential living, community-oriented retail uses, office space, and amenities. The 55-acre site is located between Stonecrest Boulevard and Dam Road. Site work is expected to commence soon. Full buildout is projected to take approximately 4 years.

Velvet Coupe Wine Bar

COMING SOON: The wives of Model A Brewing are opening a wine bar, the only wine bar in Tega Cay. It will be a welcoming space for the community to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great glass of wine.

Five Blossoms Shoppe

Early in 2026: You’ll get to experience the brainchild (or perhaps more fittingly, flower child) of a new flower shop coming to Historic Downtown York from the Clover staple, Five Blossom Farms. While full details are still to come, this space will be more than just flowers.

Early 2026: Alongside the Five Blossoms Shoppe, a café led by former Clover Harvest and current head chef of the It’s Worth It food truck, Chef Lynsey, is opening in downtown. While not many details have been released yet, one thing is certain, the food will be locally sourced and absolutely delicious.
York Hampton Inn & Suites

Coming Soon: The historic district will soon be home to its very first hotel a 97-room Hampton Inn & Suites, located on South Congress Street. This exciting addition will feature modern amenities while maintaining the charm of the area, offering visitors a convenient and comfortable stay just steps away from downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Parks and Development
Catawba Bend Preserve
📍 3271 Neely Store Road, Rock Hill, SC
COMING SOON: York County's 1,900-acre premier park on the Catawba River continues to transform into a unique, nature-based park for recreation. This year, they are adding new hiking trails, cross-country and mountain bike trails, disc golf, picnic areas, fishing, bird watching, public restrooms, and parking.

The Lantern Hotel
223 E. Main St
Rock Hill’s first downtown hotel will be a one-of-a-kind destination, featuring 56 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and a classic, timeless feel inspired by the Andrew Jackson Hotel of the 1920s. Even more meaningful, the hotel will be proudly staffed by participants in the Winthrop LIFE program, creating an inclusive hospitality experience that blends history.

Bleachery Fieldhouse

Now Open: The all-new Bleachery Fieldhouse is now open to City of Rock Hill residents! This state-of-the-art indoor facility features four regulation basketball courts, striped for eight volleyball courts and 12 pickleball courts, bringing daily play, leagues, clinics, and tournaments together under one roof. Memberships are available now, both online and in person at City of Rock Hill facilities. Please note, the Bleachery Fieldhouse is currently open to City of Rock Hill residents only.

Miracle Park
📍1005 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill, SC
COMING SOON: Phase 2 will include another Miracle League baseball field and a large multipurpose field. An Education Building for indoor programming abilities and to store all of our adaptive equipment will also be added along with more parking.
Phase 3 will be a retail space on the corner of Richmond Dr and Cherry Rd with a café and other businesses that seek to change the statistics for people with disabilities by having opportunities for people of all abilities by using job coaches and mentors to help them learn skills and build their resume's in an inclusive, accessible environment. Also in this phase, the retention pond will be filled and used to program therapeutic fishing. Finally, a beautiful donor recognition sculpture in this area will be through a partnership with Winthrop's Art Department.

The Marlie Center
📍Fountain Park
Coming Soon: The Marlie Center, formerly known as The Arts Center at Fountain Park, is a planned performing arts venue coming to downtown Rock Hill. Named in honor of Marlie Dru Sullivan, a local teen dancer whose passion for the arts continues to inspire the community, the center is envisioned as a vibrant cultural hub for the region. The venue will feature more than 500 seats and host a variety of performances, including dances, plays, and other arts events.

Field Day Park Six New Pickleball Courts

Now Open: Pickleball continues to be the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., and York County is no exception, with new pickleball courts popping up across the county. Field Day Park now features six new pickleball courts, along with two new single-use restrooms, a vending machine, and additional seating located near the courts. Memberships can be purchased through the county website.

Jim Shore Museum

Late 2026: The Jim Shore Museum is a 22,000-square-foot space dedicated to showcasing the artist’s work, from his early pieces to collaborations with brands like Disney. Visitors can explore rotating galleries and enjoy video immersion experiences that bring Shore’s unique art to life.
