1. Founders Ice Skating Rink

Join the guided ranger-led hike starting from the CCC Bathhouse Trailhead of Kings Mountain State Park to the Boulders Access Area of Crowders Mountain State Park. This trek spans a moderate 5.6 miles, suitable for individuals aged 10 and above. Remember to pack essentials such as water, binoculars, insect repellent, sturdy hiking shoes, and a camera to capture the stunning views. Dress appropriately for the weather conditions! A complimentary shuttle service will be available between the parks for added convenience. 3. Carowinds Winterfest
Carowinds is transforming once again! Starting November 17th, you can step inside this rollercoaster theme park turned into a winter wonderland. Experience Winterfest with ice skating, 5 million shimmering lights and a 70-foot tree! Festive fun and hands-on holiday activities are located throughout the park, and sweet aromas from special holiday dishes and desserts fill the midways. Plus, up to 24 of your favorite rides will be open to complete your night of memory-making.
4. Anne Springs Close Greenway
Looking for a state park-esque adventure with great amenities? Head to the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, a 2,100-acre nature preserve that offers hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and guided horseback riding! You don’t even have to pack snacks. The Greenway Canteen offers an incredible farm-fresh menu for kids and adults alike, including beverages for mom and dad!
5. Get Started on the YoCo Brew Trail
Show the family all the new breweries that York County has to offer on the YoCo Brew Trail. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a food truck and drink at one of our 12 locations across York County. Just visit our office or any one of our breweries to pick up your passport today. Be sure to get a stamp when you purchase a beer. If you hit over 10 stops, stop by the York County Visitor Center to pick up your prize!
6. Get Competitive
