1. Winterfest
What’s a better Christmas date than riding rollercoasters under 5 million shimmering lights? Ride rollercoasters, hear from the holiday singers, and even hit the ice rink at Carowinds Winterfest. There are lots of options at Carowinds that will leave you with that warm Christmas feeling. You can even spend New Year’s Eve night there!
2. Founders Ice Skating Rink
Want to impress that special someone with your ability on the ice? Here’s your chance. Head to the Founders Ice Rink in Old Town Rock Hill. It’s right across from the amphitheater. Warm up afterward with a sweet treat and coffee from Amelie’s. The rink is open from November 18th - January 19th.

3. Narroway Productions
Book tickets to a highly acclaimed Christmas Show at Narroway Productions in Fort Mill before they sell out! Enjoy an interactive dinner and theater show to celebrate the season.
4. Neighborhood Christmas Lights Tours
Drive through Stafford Park in Rock Hill and see all of the Christmas decorations! Not only is this a chance to get into the Christmas spirit, but it is also the perfect time to give back to your community. The neighborhood is collecting canned goods, unwrapped new toys, and cash to benefit families of York County through Toys for Happiness. The neighborhood is right off Hollis Lakes Road in Rock Hill.

5. Take a Pottery Class
At Rock Hill Pottery, you can learn how to throw pottery on the wheel, glaze, or hand-build. Classes are taught by Jonathan Williams. Give the gift of an experience this Christmas, or take a class and gift your final product! You know your mom would still treasure your handmade gift for Christmas. Also, check out Olives Mud Puddle, offering seasonal classes that bring the fun to Fort Mill.
6. Horseback Trail Ride
For just $70, you can take an hour-and-a-half horse ride through the trails of the Anne Springs Close Greenway. Hurry and book today, as space is limited and these will fill up! What’s more romantic than a trail ride through nature?
7. Fun on a Farm
Get cozy this season with a trip to Windy Hill Orchard, where you can warm up by the fire, sip on fresh cider, and enjoy a batch of hot apple donuts. Then keep the holiday spirit going with a stop at Penland Tree Farm, the perfect place to pick out your Christmas tree together and make new memories surrounded by festive cheer.

8. The Foodie School
Try something new with that special someone in your life. The Foodie School offers the unique experience of creating your favorite dishes while having fun with friends, family, or loved ones. Not seasoned in the kitchen? No worries! The chefs will guide you every step of the way, and then you get to sit and feast on your creations.
9. Live Music
Did you know that many of our breweries in York County have regular live music nights? This is the easiest date night idea to hang out and hear some great local musicians. Don’t forget to check in on the YoCo Brew Trail while you’re there; grab a passport to get started!
