The NCAA College Basketball Academy has announced Rock Hill, SC as the host city for the 2024 NCAA College Basketball Academies to take place July 23-30, 2024. Winthrop University is the host institution for the event, and the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center, operated and maintained by the City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department (PRT) is the host venue.

These developmental academies for the country’s top student-athletes provide an opportunity for players to train, develop skills and learn about college basketball. The Academies are the only event NCAA Division I Basketball Coaches are permitted to attend during this period. Athletes and their parents or chaperones will also receive training on NCAA eligibility, the recruiting process and related topics. The Academies are not open to the public.
