Karis Watson

Induction year: 2024

Karis played volleyball at Rock Hill High School winning Gatorade Player of the Year (2010), Region 4A Player of the Year (2010), and was selected to the North South All Star Game (2010). Watson then played collegiately at Clemson University (2011 – 2014), winning the 2014 Team Academic Award, and 2014 All ACC Academic. Other accomplishments she has achieved include 2010 Team MaxPreps Player of the Year, 2010 Under Armour All-America Watch List, and All-State track athlete in high jump, triple jump, and shot put while at Rock Hill High School. She has also won Region Champion 3 times, and 2010 Upper State Champion in volleyball.

Watson has played professionally since 2016 in England, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, France, and most recently in the United States. Karis Watson was named the volunteer assistant for the Winthrop University Volleyball program in July of 2022 and has assisted with the City of Rock Hill Volleyball Camps & Volleyball Programming in 2022 & 2023
