James Kiser

A true scholar-athlete, Kiser was Northwestern High School’s valedictorian in 1975. Accumulated 12 letters while playing track, basketball and football for the Trojans. Track honors included All-Area, All-State and a top 10 finish in the National AAU Junior Olympics. He was a four year starter on the basketball team and in football won All-Area, All-State, North-South All-Star and Shrine Bowl accolades. Played college ball at Furman winning All-Southern Conference honors and being named team MVP. His coaching career includes stints at Lenoir Rhyne, NC State and a current position at Vanderbilt.
