Fred Hambright

Fred was a three-year sport star from 1928 to 1931 at Clover.  He signed a football scholarship at USC, lettering in football, basketball and baseball. He then signed with the Boston Red Sox.  Fred also played semi-professional football.  After he retired, he played at Emory & Henry College and Newberry College before joining the U.S. Navy.
