The Local Scoop

The Local Scoop is a mom-and-pop ice cream shop making small-batch premium ice cream. We locally source select ingredients and all of our ice cream is homemade. We also have non-dairy options and are allergy conscious so everyone can enjoy a sweet treat! We will have homemade ice cream and non-dairy ice cream. Our offerings include scoops, waffle cones made onsite, sundaes, floats, milkshakes, and additional novelties. A few staple flavors include Dutch Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Cookie Monster (a better version of cookies and cream, vanilla base loaded with Oreos and chocolate chip cookies), Strawberry Dream (made with fresh strawberries locally sourced from the Matthews Farmers Market), and seasonal rotating flavors.
