Springfield Golf Club

Springfield Golf Club is a Leroy Springs & Company, Inc., 18 hole, par 72 course. A new fully stocked pro shop, cafe and gorgeous outdoor pavilion are scheduled to open in 2007. Tee times are required for groups at all times. The Clyde Johnston-designed course harkens back to the traditional schemes of the 1920s and the Golf Age of Architecture in golf. Its 6,906 yards are located on a heavily wooded, hilly site, with four holes flanking Sugar Creek – affording spectacular views – and 13 holes playing across and along perennial streams that feed the Catawba River
