Gallery 120 will host a Watercolor Painting Workshop in September 2019! Led by the prestigious Dr. Brad Sabelli, this workshop will focus on mastery in basic techniques and layout. By the end of this workshop, students will have at least 2 finished matted works to be photographed for personal portfolios during the last session. All works will be painted on 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. This 4-week Watercolor Painting Workshop will occur on Thursday evenings beginning September 5 through September 26 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Gallery 120.
Below is a list of supplies the participant will be responsible for purchasing and bringing to the workshop:
- Inexpensive tube set of watercolors (TUBE SETS ONLY) - A generic set of basic watercolor paint brushes - Drawing pencil - Box of tissues - Mastic - Masking fluid - Natural sponge and a very small mister bottle - Watercolor pad or block. Arche's 11x14" 140 lb. cold press (high end) - Watercolor pad - any generic brand will do 140 lb. wt (low end) - Plastic reusable pallet - Two reusable plastic water vessels that will hold water
