US of CAY July 4th and 5th Celebration

"Where Eagles Soar!" - Annual Fourth of July Celebration Set to Dazzle Tega Cay
TEGA CAY, SC – March 3, 2025 - The City of Tega Cay is proud to announce its upcoming Fourth of July celebration with the patriotic theme "Where Eagles Soar!" This year's festivities will honor the American Eagle with two full days of family-friendly entertainment including lively parades, live music, mouthwatering treats, an exciting ski show, and a dazzling fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky.
Event Schedule
JULY 4TH
• 9:00 AM - "Where Eagles Soar" Land Parade Step-Off at City Hall
• 4:30 PM – Annual Lions Fish Fry in the Glennon Center with music by Queen City Swing
• 6:00 PM - Mayor's State of the City Address in the Glennon Center with Cutting of the City Birthday Cake
• 9:00 PM - Fireworks Over Tega Cay at the Golf Course
JULY 5TH
• 11:00 AM - Flotilla Parade from Nivens Landing to Windjammer
• 11:15 AM - Freedom Fun Run Paddle Board Competition by Goat Boater
• 12:00 PM - Carolina Ski Show - Salute to the US of A at Windjammer
• 6:30 PM - Uncle Sam Jam featuring "Dixie Diamonds" at Runde Park
"This year's celebration promises to be our most spectacular yet," said Chris Gray Mayor of Tega Cay. "We've planned activities for all ages that truly capture the patriotic spirit of our community while honoring our national symbol, the American Eagle."
The two-day event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and their patriotic spirit. Food vendors will be available at the Uncle Sam Jam on July 5th.
Registration for the boat and land parade are open until Thursday, June 26th.
