In the Summer, there are so many signs of life on the Greenway. Trees are in full bloom and we can see all our Summer wildflowers in all their glory. The animals are out foraging and we can observe all the varieties of wildlife including turtles, snakes, squirrels and a great variety of birds and insects.

We will start out from the Adventure Center(Adventure Road Parking Lot, 194 Adventure Road) and look for all the natural signs of Summer. We will identify various trees and flowers. We will also explore the prairie and the forest as well as walk the trails that have been part of the landscape since the time when native Americans hunted and the pioneer settlers arrived in search of new opportunity.

Hikers will meet in the Adventure Road entrance parking lot and will be approximately 1.5 miles in length. This hike is free for Greenway members. $5 daily visitor fee applies to non-members.
