Kids Kayaking Clinic

This fun, engaging class is designed to introduce kids to the sport of kayaking! We will meet at the Kayak Launch and start by fitting everyone with appropriate gear. We will discuss how to choose a safe kayaking location based on your ability, demonstrate how to maneuver safely and effectively, and how to get in and out of your boat. Once we’re out on the water we will cover some basic paddling techniques and make sure paddlers feel comfortable and confident using some fun kayak activities. Water bottle and close toed shoes required.

• Ages: Ages 8 to 15. (All participants must have a guardian stay on property during the program and provide a cell phone number upon arrival.)
• Cost: $34 per person, 20% discount for Greenway Members
