Looking for something fun and different to do? Join us on Saturday, October 26 when we will be welcoming back the goats of Critter Creek Farm to the Greenway to bring our guests a fabulous Fall experience.
Your afternoon will kick off at 4pm with a fun and relaxing round of goat yoga. Following the yoga, each guest will receive two drink tickets toward a delicious cider (kid friendly and adult friendly options), wine, or fall-themed beer. We will also have fire pits on site to keep you warm and roast the yummy s’mores we will be handing out and, of course, there will be plenty of time to take pictures with the goats!
WHAT EXACTLY IS GOAT YOGA? Goat yoga is a fun therapeutic experience. We provide 50-60 minutes of a beginner level yoga by a certified instructor while our goats of all ages meander through the class. All of our goats are miniatures so even the adults look like babies. Our goats are very friendly and love to participate. Favorite poses? Down dog and warrior. Why? They love to use your legs as a tunnel to walk through. Be careful in cat/cow! The babies love to jump on your back. After yoga, take all the time you need to get poses in plank, wheel, pigeon or group shots.
WHAT TO BRING? A yoga mat or towel, water, and camera of course.
DETAILS Meet at the Comporium Amphitheater, Dairy Barn entrance. $25 Greenway members / $30 nonmembers. Please note, children must be 12+ to participate in the yoga class.
