Fall is the time of the year when the landscape on the Greenway changes. Leaves on the trees start to turn beautiful colors. The animals are out foraging and preparing for winter. Those that hibernate are looking for winter homes.
On October 19th we will start out from the Adventure Center and look for signs that winter is approaching. As the tree leaves begin to fall, we can see more features of the landscape. We can see the signs that the animals are at work preparing for the winter.
Hikers will meet in the Adventure Road entrance parking lot and will be approximately 1.5 miles in length. This hike is free for Greenway members. $5 daily visitor fee applies to non-members.
