    Historic Brattonsville was the site of the American Revolutionary battle known as Huck’s Defeat. Celebrate and explore the Patriot victory over the British at the Battle of Huck’s Defeat. Military camp life activities, music, crafts, and children’s activities bring to life the American Revolutionary in the Carolina Piedmont. Battle reenactments are at 2pm each day.

    A special tribute to the late Michael C. Scoggins, Culture & Heritage Museums’ chief historian who passed away earlier this year, will be held on Saturday at noon during the annual wreath laying ceremony.

    Historic Brattonsville is a Blue Star Museum.
