If you're looking for a triple-decker, never-been-seen before, delicious burger, you've come to the right place. York County's restaurants know how to do burgers right, after all we are home to Charlotte's best burger. Enough with the small talk, let's get to the must-try list.
Blacow Burger:
Voted the Best Burger in Charlotte at the 2018 Moo & Brew Festival in Charlotte, this Fort Mill staple is a must try! Their patties are a short rib steak mixture, giving you all the juicy goodness. Try the F.R.O.G Burger with a special fig, raspberry, orange, and ginger sauce or put the Flaming Cow on your plate with Ghost Pepper Jack cheese. You honestly can't go wrong, so maybe just order one of everything.
Burgers & Barley:
The proof is in the pudding, I mean name, for this restaurant. The burgers at this Rock Hill restaurant are out of this world. Their entire menu is delicious (skillet mac & cheese is a must) but you have to order a burger. This certified Angus Blend is absolutely fantastic. Check out their menu here, but monitor their social media pages as they constantly introduce a new special that gets bigger and better each time.
Papa Doc's Lake Wylie:
This brand new restaurant on Lake Wylie took over for T-Bones this Spring. This burger with creamy mac & cheese oozing out of it is the perfect summer meal. Their menu is filled with items from the sea, but this land item takes the cake.
Hobo's Burgers Shakes & Brews:
This Main Street Fort Mill restaurant packs a punch with their build your own burgers. Design it with fried green tomatoes, onion straws, or anything else you can think of. Their special patty blend won't leave you hungry in the slightest. Pair this burger with one of their famous adult milkshakes on their huge patio and your night will be made.
Legal Remedy Brewing Company:
Come for the fantastic craft beers, but stay for the burger. This Short Rib & Brisket mix is out of this world. Pair it with some pimento cheese poutine fries and a Mocha Blonde Stout and you'll be set.
Cibi Cibi Food Truck:
This York County food truck may not have a brick and mortar, but they're worth chasing down for their double cheeseburger of goodness. You can order it as a single patty, but why would you want to? The cheese is perfectly molded into these patties making it a must try whenever they're in town.
The Coal Yard Restaurant and Lounge:
This York restaurant is a local favorite and recently revamped their menu adding a fantastic burger to the mix. Most nights this restaurant has live music on the patio, making it the perfect backdrop for your evening.
Stateline BBQ & Taphouse:
This new Lake Wylie favorite may have BBQ in their name, but their chef's burger creations are out of this world. Stacked a mile high with every topping you can think of, this burger is perfect to sink your teeth into.
McHale's On Main:
This pub style restaurant knows how to do burgers. They know how to do them so well, they offer them half off every Tuesday. Don't sleep on this special price for these fantastic burgers.
