Summer is quickly coming to a close. Kids across South and North Carolina are back in the classrooms and everyone has their routine down, right?

With Labor Day approaching, the kiddos are already thinking about their first day of school off…so why not indulge them and extend summer a little longer.

The Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill has so many great activities this week for families.

Tuesday August 28:

A campfire cooking class takes place on Tuesday night. Time to upgrade your open fire skills from hot dogs to gourmet snacks. And mom, don’t worry about packing anything, The Greenway has you covered. Just show up hungry!

The class starts at 6:30, so you’ll have plenty of time to still make bedtime.  You do have to register for the class and it costs $10. Click here for all the details.

Thursday August 30:

Need some exercise, but don’t want to do it alone? Join the Summer Run Club at the Greenway. This is their last date of the summer. It’s a timed run on a 5K course and you’ll make it back just in time for the summer concert series. All ages welcome.

The concert series ends this Thursday night, but will have lots of food trucks and great music. It starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:30, if you haven’t made it out this summer, you won’t want to miss this.

Sunset Yoga will also start at 6. Multiple activities, one place, one time.
