The countdown is on for SummerFest in York! The two-day festival on August 23rd and 24th, will be adding new features and going out with a bang! Here's everything you can't miss at the 36th SummerFest! Keep an eye on the SummerFest Facbeook Page for a full schedule of events and updates!

Friday August 23rd: 


When: 5pm-7pm 

Where: Jefferson Field

Start off SummerFest with a blast with the Kidzapalooza kick off event. Join in the fun with food vendors, inflatables, and so much more! 


When: 7pm-10pm 

Where: Whitesides Cleaners: 5 E Madison St., York, SC

Head out to York Friday night for a SummerFest kick-off bash! Catch musician Matt Tucker at this free concert at Whitesides Cleaners. They are asking you to purchase a ticket, even though the event is free. 

Saturday August 24th: 

The festival kicks off at 9am with fun for the whole family. There will be also be a craft fair, and live music all day long. Check out the biggest highlights below! 


When: 9am-5pm

Where: Congress St, York, SC

Don't miss the coolest classic cars around. Downtown York will be lined with every classic car you can think of. Cars will start lining up around 8:30 and take off when the festival ends. Grab a bite to eat and go stroll down Congress Street taking in all York has to offer. Most of the owners sit by their cars during the festival, so you can chat with them about their cool ride!


When: 9am-5pm

Where: Inside SummerFest

This festival is seriously family-friendly. Don't miss the Kidspalooza inside SummerFest with events they won't want to miss! Water activities and inflatables are back with new additions! Don't miss the PawPatrol Photo Booth and a Royal Princess Concert. Your kids will want to spend all day in York! 

Paw Patrol Show Times: 9am to 12pm

Royal Princess Show Times: 10am and 2pm

Spiderman Appearance: 2pm to 4pm 

Baby Shark Appearance: 3pm-5pm

Where: McCelvey Center, 212 E Jefferson St, York

Get your tickets to the Gospel Xplosion at SummerFest. Cool down inside the historic McCelvey Center listening to award winning gospel artist Kenny Curry. There will also be opening acts including local choirs and Christian comedians. Get your tickets here


When: 9am-5pm 

Where: Inside SummerFest

If you've had a hankering for fair food, this is your chance. Don't miss the funnel cakes, smoked turkey legs, and cheese fries! These food trucks are out to impress. Come hungry and leaves with leftovers! Grab your food and walk around, enjoying the sights and sounds of SummerFest! 


When: 5:30pm-8:30pm

Where: Garden Cafe, 307 W Liberty St, York 

If you didn't get enough SummerFest, don't worry! SummerFest After Hours is here to help. After the festival has packed up, head to The Garden Cafe down Liberty Street to enjoy a little after party. Cool down and eat up with The Garden Cafe's delicious menu or try the craft beer bazaar and beer sampling. There's something for everyone!
