Independence Day in Fort Mill 

Date: July 3rd

Time: Fireworks start at 9pm

Join Fort Mill for a good old fashioned 4th of July! Main Street will be closed down July 3rd from 6pm to 9pm and filled with vendors selling food and goods. The Independence Day Ceremony will kick off at 8:15pm, followed by cannons being fired off and fireworks at 9pm. 

 

Red White & BOOM Rock Hill 

Date: July 3rd 

Time: Fireworks start at 9:30pm 

 Come down to Main Street Rock Hill for food trucks, fun, and Fireworks at the Fountain! Try saying that 5 times fast. Come out to Fountain Park on July 3rd to and enjoy live music starting at 6:30. Food Trucks will sprawl all the way down Black Street to the Fountain. There will also be drinks, mechanical rides and more in Old Town Rock Hill. 

 

Independence Day Events Fireworks at Lake Wylie

Date: July 4th

The Buster Boyd Bridge Boat Landing, Papa Doc's outside deck, Rey Azteca deck at Lake Wylie Plaza, Lake Wylie Italian and Pizza on patio at Lake Wylie Plaza, Bagel Boat and Long Cove Resort.

 

Tega Cay 4th of July Celebrations

Date: July 4th 

Time: Fireworks start at 9:30pm

This is not only a 4th of July celebration, but also the city's 37th birthday! The day will start with a golf tournament and parade at 9:30, a boat parade at 12:30 with a ski-team show at 1pm. The evening will end with fireworks. 

 

Baxter Village 4th of July Parade: 

Largest July 4th Parade in the Charlotte/Fort Mill/Rock Hill Area

July 4th, 9:30AM along Market Street/ Starts @ 940 Market Street in front of Killington's Restaurant & Pub. Parade route stretches 10 blocks. Free parking behind Baxter Town Center businesses.

The parade includes more than 150 units - bands, floats, military honor guard, fire department color guard, Carolina Panthers band, Carolina Panthers mascot Sir Purr and Top Cats Cheerleaders, Charlotte Knights' mascot Homer, classic/vintage cars, clowns, shriners entertainment units, street performers, youth groups, decorated entries, and more! For those who want to participate, no sign-up needed. Just show up in the lots behind 940 Market Street by 9 a.m.

 

Celebrate America Fireworks Show at Carowinds 

Date: July 4th and 5th

Time: Fireworks start at 9:30

The skies above the state line will be alive with a giant fireworks display courtesy of Carowinds. Spend a day thrill-seeking on some of the fastest rollercoasters in the South and beating the heat at Carolina Harbor, then sit back and enjoy the show when the sun goes down. The best news? You can also catch the fireworks on the 5th too!

 

York's 4th of July Spectacular 

Date: July 4th 

Time: 7pm - 10pm 

York isn't holding back with their new location for the 4th of July festivities! From 7pm to 10pm you'll be able to listen to live music, enjoy kids games and more at York Comprehensive High School. Fireworks will cap the night off at this brand new location. 

 

Independence Day at Historic Brattonsville

Date: July 4th 

Time: 10am to 4pm

Period dressed interpreters celebrate Independence Day 1850s style. Historical cooking demonstrations feature traditional summer recipes of the Carolina Piedmont. Activities include firing demonstrations at 12:30 & 3:30pm, dancing at 11am & 1pm, and the reading of the Declaration of Independence on the porch of the Col. Bratton House at noon & 3pm. check website for more timed activities. Admission Fees: Adults $8; Seniors $7; Youth 4-17 $5; FREE for CHM members & ages 4 and under
