A little live music, a little barbecue, a little beer tasting, all in the middle of nature? Sign us up!
This is the 13th year for the Fiddle ‘n Pig Shindig and if I do say so, it’s shaping up to be a great one.
The event starts at 11, with music kicking off at noon and going straight through the night. If you stick around after the event, there’s even some pickin’ on the porch at the Graham Cabin.
Here’s the full music list:
Don’t pack a lunch, cause you’re sure not to go hungry. There’s 14 food trucks that are rolling into The Greenway just for the event. With a wide variety, there’s time to taste everything. This event also gives you a chance to try out The Improper Pig, which will soon be opening in downtown Fort Mill.
Check out the full food line up:
Two Chicks and A Truck, Wilbur’s Last Ride, Cafe Mobile Too, Blowin’ Smoke LLC, The Improper Pig, Killer Q Food Truck, The Plated Palette, Archie Boys BBQ, Red Oak Barbeque & Catering, My Popcorn Heaven- Serving the Carolinas & Beyond, Two Scoops Creamery, The Donut Guy, Kona Ice Fort Mill, Rollin’ Roast Mobile Coffee Bar, Sprinkles.
And what goes better with a plethora of food, than a local beer. The Shindig includes a Biergarten featuring 15 breweries with three beer choices at each. Guests will receive a commemorative cup!
Don’t let the night end when the music does. Plan to stay the night, giving your family a camping experience they won’t forget.
You do have to register for your campsite ahead of time. Don’t forget to bring all your own camping equipment and gear. Camping setup is on Saturday, September 8 from 7:30-10: 30 am. After that, you will be prohibited from driving into the grounds and will need to haul your items into the camping area. To register for camping, email Mina McLean.
This annual event is one you can’t miss and brings the best the South has to offer, right to the Greenway. So get out and enjoy York County and create your story today.
