The official start of fall is right around the corner, even if it feels like Summer will never end. Time to start planning for October events that require tickets. 

Here's 10 events that are sure to sell out, so basically what we're telling you is that you should buy these now. 

Windy Hill Apple Festival

October 19 | 10-6 | $10-$12

Windy Hill Orchard & Cider Mill is the everything Apples for the Charlotte region. This family-owned orchard serves up pick your own apples, homemade hard cider, apple slushies, and apple cider donuts. It's the perfect fall experience. Their apple festival is an awesome to celebrate all of that. This event will sell out, so get your tickets early. Pro tip: pay the extra two bucks for the hayride, it's awesome. 

Tap The Rock

November 16 | 2pm | $30 unlimited, $60 VIP 

Rock Hill's biggest craft beer festival is headed back this year, in November! Join in on the fun November 16th at Fountain Park celebrating beer from across the Carolinas. This year, Tap the Rock will close out YoCo Beer Week and you won't want to miss it. Battle of the Carolinas will start at Main Street Bottle Shop at noon. VIP tickets will be $60 and include unlimited tastings, catered food, and rare specialty beers. $30 is for regular tickets. You can also just purchase tickets for individual beers. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 20th. 

York County Fashion Week:

October 1-6 | Various Locations | $20-$60

York County's biggest celebration of fashion is back for it's second year! York County Fashion week is running fashion shows all across York County for various prices. Our top picks? Try out the Designer Sip & See, walk through the historic Getty's Center and learn about fabulous designers, with a cocktail of course. Try out the Fashions on the Lake runway show, with a secret location and theme, and then visit the Fashion Speak Easy at Knowledge Park. A link to tickets for all the events is in the bio. 

Lanterns & Legends

Oct 4 -26 | Various times | $15 

If you're looking to celebrate the spookiness of the season, this event is perfect for you! Join Fort Mill History Museum for the Lanterns & Legends tours throughout October. Walk downtown Fort Mill after dark and hear ghost stories and more

Blues & Jazz Festival:

Oct 3-4 | Various Locations | $10

The 15th Annual Blues & Jazz festival is back across York County! The kick off in Clover and Baxter will be October 3rd with the full restaurant crawl on the 4th. Tickets are only $10! Tickets are in the bio. 

US Disc Golf Championship:

Oct 2-5 | Winthrop Lake | $10- $200

The US Disc Golf Championship is back at Wintrhop Lake for the 22nd year. This tournament brings in the best disc golf players from across the world to Rock Hill. This week long tournament is changing the game 

Historic Rock Hill Oyster Roast:

Oct 17 | 6-9 | $65 

 Catered by Culinary Chef David Babey, guests will enjoy fresh steamed oysters, oysters on the half-shell, and a southern BBQ dinner buffet with seasonal sides. All proceeds go to benefit Historic Rock Hill and the White Home. 

Legal Remedy Brewing Farm To Table Dinner:

Join Legal Remedy Brewing on Monday, October 28th at 6:30pm for a four course beer dinner. Hear from the farmers, chefs and brewers as they walk you through this incredible locally sourced dinner paired with LRB beers! This is a private event, so you'll get the chance to ask questions, visit with the brewing team, local farmers, and get the chefs to share their culinary secrets.

Narroway Production's A Real Christmas Story:

Nov 2 - Dec 22 | Various Times | $37 for dinner and a show 

We realize that it seems early to be talking about Christmas, but for Narroway Production's A Real Christmas Story, it's never too early. Shows have already started selling out. This is the ultimate Christmas experience the whole family will love. Narroway Productions is a Christmas Dinner Theatre that is the perfect family-friendly experience in Fort Mill. The tickets are cheaper for younger children or seniors.
