Four York County High Schools will host some of the nation’s top basketball prospects competing to become the next college basketball recruit.

FORT MILL/YORK, SC, July 8, 2019 - On July 11th – 14th, the top travel basketball programs around the region and the country will gather at various high schools in York County, SC to compete in the Phenom Hoops Summer Havoc Live Program. Games will be played at Nation Ford High School (1400 A.O. Jones Blvd., Fort Mill, SC), Fort Mill High School (215 N. Highway 21 BYP, Fort Mill, SC), Catawba Ridge High School (1180 Fort Mill Parkway, Fort Mill, SC) and York Comprehensive High School (275 E. Alexander Love Hwy., York, SC 29745).

Teams will be traveling from South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and New York to play in Phenom’s Summer Havoc Live Program. Around 130 teams are expected to showcase their talents and abilities for Division 1 NCAA college basketball coaches to scout and recruit.

“The Phenom Hoops Summer Havoc is a building block to bringing large scale basketball events to York County,” says Andy Clinton, VP of Sales at Visit York County. “A sanctioned NCAA Live Period event such as this translates to lots of teams and college coaches visiting the area and providing a great impact to the local economy.”

Spectators are welcome. The admission fee to the event is $15.
