The Arts Council of Rock Hill and York County presents performing
arts and programs gallery space in the Center for the Arts,
City Hall Rotunda Gallery and Piedmont Medical Center Gallery.
The Dalton Gallery features art exhibits from local, regional,
national and international artists. Gallery hours: Mon.
- Thur., 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Fri, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Every 2nd
and 4th weekend: Sat., 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Sun., 2 p.m. -
4 p.m.

Clover School District Auditorium opened in the fall of
1994. Since that time, the 1,500-seat facility has been
fulfilling its mission of educating, enlightening, enriching,
and entertaining the entire community. The auditorium hosts
a wide variety of events by local school groups and is also
home to community events including theater, concerts, dance
recitals, civic and church events. The auditorium is available
for profit and non-profit groups. To obtain information

Gallery Up is an art space created by LaValla Maddox Art + Design as an effort to present contemporary arts and crafts that are accessible, affordable, and eclectic. Gallery Up offers exhibition gallery space, retail store with a custom frame shop, and an e-Commerce site at www.galleryup.com. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Gettys Center and is open to the public Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and the second and forth Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. |

This grand historical building houses a 560-seat theatre,
which hosts an annual performing arts series. It is home
to the Yorkville Players Theatre Group, several art-related
studios and Center Stage, an Arts-in-Education program serving
regional school children. McCelvey Center also houses the
Historical Center of York County. A reception room is available
for wedding receptions, community activities, and other
social functions.

Through the College of Visual and
Performing Arts, Winthrop University offers a variety of
arts programs each year. Winthrop Galleries, located in
the Rutledge Building, exhibit the work of local, regional
and national artists. The Edmund D. Lewandowski Student
Gallery, located in McLaurin Hall, displays the works of
Department of Art and Design students and local young people.
The Department of Music and the Department of Theatre and
Dance schedule campus performances by guest artists, faculty
members and students throughout the year.
