Rock Hill Telephone Company Museum
Comporium’s company museum highlights the changes in communications since Rock Hill Telephone’s inception. Your tour through the Comporium Museum begins with a brief video presentation outlining the 113-year history of the company. Key exhibits include “Old Mack,” the actual 1927 truck that served the company well as a workhorse vehicle for decades. Visitors also have several opportunities to participate with some interactive exhibits, such as operating a switchboard where you become the operator. Tours are available for groups by appointment.
The museum is open to the public Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
